There are quite a few books out there about the legendary Steve Jobs, but once I stumbled upon this gem from the Steve Jobs Archive, I read it in a matter of three days. To make things even better, you can read Make Something Wonderful for free, beautifully formatted online, and also available for download on Kindle or iBooks. This book focuses on the life and achievements of Steve Jobs but through the lens of his speeches, interviews, and emails — making this one of the most quotable books I’ve ever read. Random snippets from over the course of several decades are interlaced with some well-written context, making this both easy to read and entertaining at the same time.

It was really interesting to learn more about how Jobs approached the setbacks and challenges he faced throughout his life, like how he went from being ousted from Apple in the 1980s, only to return and lead the company to unprecedented success. It was also awesome to learn more about the huge role that Jobs played regarding Pixar and the similarities and differences between Pixar and Apple.
